Privacy and personal data protection policy of giangmetta.com, operated by Hoang Huong Giang (Giang Metta) under Vietnam Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Government Decree 356/2025/ND-CP.

1. Our Commitment to Protecting Personal Data

Hoang Huong Giang (operating the Giang Metta brand) respects your privacy and applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data of learners and clients. This policy follows Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15, Decree 356/2025/ND-CP, the Law on Cyberinformation Security and other applicable regulations.

Transition note: Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection was the earlier foundation. From January 1, 2026, Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree 356/2025/ND-CP are in force and are the main legal basis.

2. Why We Collect and Process Data

We only collect and process your personal data for these lawful and necessary purposes:

• Advice & planning your pathway: to advise on courses and arrange restorative yoga sessions or 1:1 singing bowl sessions suited to you.
• Confirming transactions: to handle bookings and course enrolment, activate video courses and send ebooks.
• Certificates & certificate records: to issue Giang Metta Academy's Certificate of Completion and help verify course completion at your request.
• Learner support: appointment reminders and technical support during and after your training.
• Tax & legal obligations: personal income tax declaration and other financial obligations required by Vietnamese law.

3. What Data We Collect

• Basic identification data: full name, phone number, email address, and postal address (for singing bowl or printed course material orders).
• Transaction data: booking codes, course enrolment history and bank transfer confirmations (we do not store your banking passwords or international card details).

3a. Sensitive Personal Data

During consultation and safety screening before a class or practice session, you may voluntarily share information about:

• mobility (range of motion, joint limitations);
• current or past injuries;
• pregnancy;
• physical pain or discomfort;
• sleep;
• stress;
• health conditions relevant to adjusting practice.

3b. Public Listing in the Teacher Directory (Registry)

After completing a training course, learners may be invited to list their profile in Giang Metta's Teacher Directory (Registry). Publishing the following on the Registry requires your separate consent:

• name and profile photo;
• credential (completed certificate);
• certificate ID;
• professional profile information.

Enrolling in a course does not automatically mean you agree to a public Registry profile. You may decline, or ask for your profile to be removed from the Registry at any time, by contacting giangmetta@gmail.com or WhatsApp/Zalo +84 912 353 999.

4. How Long We Keep Data

Your personal data is stored securely for as long as you use our services or take part in our training. Certificate records and the graduate teacher directory are kept long term so that qualifications can be looked up and verified for life, unless you request deletion in writing.

5. No Sharing With Third Parties

Data is shared only to the minimum extent necessary with:

• postal and courier services, to send a printed certificate at your specific request;
• international credentialing bodies (Yoga Alliance, IPHM) when you ask for help with your application or verification of your training under their current rules;
• competent Vietnamese state authorities when they make an official written request under due legal process.

6. Your Rights Over Your Personal Data (Under Law No. 91/2025/QH15)

As the data subject, you have the following rights:

1. Right to be informed and to consent: to be clearly informed about data processing and to agree or refuse.
2. Right of access and correction: to view, obtain a copy of or correct inaccurate personal information.
3. Right to deletion or to withdraw consent: to ask for deletion of your data or withdraw consent at any time.
4. Right to complain: to complain if you find your data has been processed for purposes other than those stated.

7. Technical Security Measures

giangmetta.com is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, make regular backups and reduce the risk of leaks or unauthorised access.
